PARTICIPATE
— experiences of adolescent participation in health policies

This institutional publication from the Directorate of Adolescents and Youth systematizes ten years of experiences of adolescent and youth participation in health policies. The editorial design articulates high-density content—interviews, timelines, recommendations, and testimonials—within a clear and accessible structure, geared toward both government technical teams and youth organizations.

The graphic system is structured around a high-contrast palette, using deep black as the dominant background in combination with functional colors—cyan, magenta, mint green, and yellow—that organize the sections, prioritize information, and sustain the piece's visual energy. The opening pages of each chapter serve as visual breaks and simultaneous signage, implementing linear iconography on colored fields to thematically identify each section.

The infographic timeline serves as the document's backbone, translating a decade of institutional and social milestones into a clear visual narrative. This resource combines chronological nodes, text boxes differentiated by typographic hierarchy, and a color scheme that clearly distinguishes the program's actions from the socio-political context. Finally, the layout on a two-column grid allows direct quotes to coexist with analytical text without competing, supported by a typographic system that varies weights and sizes to create a fluid reading rhythm without sacrificing aesthetic cohesion.
